David Kranzler
David H. Kranzler (May 19, 1930 – November 29, 2007) was an American professor of library science at Queensborough Community College, New York, who specialized in the study of the rescue of Jews during the Holocaust.Kranzler was the author of several books on the topic, including ''Thy Brothers' Blood: The Orthodox Jewish Response During the Holocaust'' (1987) and ''The Man Who Stopped the Trains to Auschwitz: George Mantello, El Salvador, and Switzerland's Finest Hour'' (2000), ''Holocaust Hero: The Untold Story and Vignettes of Solomon Schonfeld, an Extraodinary British Orthodox Rabbi Who Rescued Four Thousand During the Holocaust'' (2003), ''Heroine of Rescue: The Incredible Story of Recha Sternbuch Who Saved Thousands from the Holocaust'' (1984, co-authored with Joseph Friedenson).
